how do i use items that require focus?

hellooo just wondering how I use items that require focus?

I am a jedi sentinel. got an item in my inventory that says it requires focus.

As an Sentinel you don't use it.

Its for certain Single Wielding Force Classes, like the second lightsaber or an Shield for the Powertech/ Commando Tank
