One time password use?

For what reason would compel EA I have to use a one time password for SWTOR apparently knowing my password wasnt good enough even though been playing for the last couple weeks everyday, any case i missed the 15 minuet window and now im stuck and cant get another one time use password, I dont wanna change my actual password since I know it and dont see any reason why i should change it. I wish there was a way I could just separate EA from SWTOR, God the headache from all this,

A lot of games use OTPs now not just EA games

If you do not want to wait for OTPs simply attach a security key to your account, can even use WinAuth on that PC and and paste the key directly into the launcher , no waiting involved.

attaching a security key will also give you 100cc a month.
