Forced to change the name

Why I'm forced to change the character name Wigo lev.50 after years of play on The Red Eclipse server ?

I am sorry you had to rename you character after the merges  @dark4wigo. There was a possibility that this happanes to some players and I am sorry you were affected. 

We did warn about this over here.

I hope you will find a new name soon and can still enjoy the game.

In every game of the type of SWTOR, if two players use the same name for a character in different servers, if the two servers fuse together the most ancient player keeps his name and the other is forced to change his name.

i know that but i play from the start of The Old Republic with that name and is not fair to be forced after years to change

Ok thanks for answer  i understand the reason , i'm not rich enough to be subscriber and my status of prefered player is nothing lol .Well i still love the game and i change the stupid name he he .
