The "deep dive" revealed no info on a re-vamped scouting system, or prospect generation.
No updates to the comically broken coaching system, the hiring of coaches, the fact that goalie coaches are just D- coaches.
No changes to the broken RFA contracts where your 78 overall career AHLer wants 9M+
What are the odds that those issues (or any other issue for that matter) got addressed, and they just didn't mention it? 1%? Less than 1%?
Looks like we might maybe have a couple new logos for created teams. Neat!
I don't know, this is probably the most underwhelming game in the series if this is all they did for the offline community. This could've been a patch.
“If it’s in the game, it’s in the game.”
Is just a sad cliche that’s false advertising a company and it’s games. They never intend on giving you much when you buy the game. Cause they have no competition and they know we have no other choice for hockey video games.

@maddawgnp I agree with you on most of what you said.
If the give us the game we deserve'" is the sticking point. We don't deserve anything. EA is a company out to make money. They release a product they think the most people, who are willing to spend money on set product, will enjoy the game.
Pretend the Total Fan base of EA is 100k
Only 10% of them are offline excluaive players. That's about 60k in annual revenue. Basically, we're a drop in the bucket to them. Zero incentive to "fix" then game. Besides, half of what we complain about ISN'T fixes, it's what they did to break the game and 90% of the time, those breaks are intentional.
So, why spend millions in developing Be a Pro and Franchise, when only. 10% of the fan base plays that exclusively? They figured out that by leaving them in, we'll buy the game every year, and even if we don't, it doesn't affect their bottom line.
Its a common myth that companies "owe" things to the consumers. Boycotts and protests and the like, stopped affecting companies long ago. You aren't dealing with a Ma and Pa store, who if enough people boycott they go out of business. You are dealing with a world wide conglomeration that will just shift its focus away from us. They won't mind losing 60k in profits and cutting out Franchise and Be a Pro if it suits them. So, why not keep it in since they've got all the coding from last year. Like you said, they've got no competition, and even if they did, we'd probably still buy both games.
Just stop saying we deserve something better, we don't, we didn't do anything to get it. We'd like them to listen to us so we can enjoy it more.
