Stuck on edit linup after sending everyone to the minors

Xbox one. Franchise mode.

In preseason when I go to roster moves and send all my regular nhl players down to the minors and call up all my ahl players to the main roster and click on Y to edit lines, controller becomes unresponsive and you get stuck on the edit lines page.

The game doesn't freeze, you can still hear the background music and the highlighted line spot remains active, but you can't fill in the lineup or go back to roster move.

The only thing you can do is restart the game.

It happens 100% of the time

@kyl_35 Yes, if I choose Head Coach Preferred lines, all spots are filled and then I can change lineup from there on

Can you back out of roster moves and let the head coach automatically set the lines?

Phew! I’m glad there’s at least a workaround. 

@EA_Aljo I think this is similar to the bug that had to be corrected after the first patch in NHL 21, if I remember correctly.
