Can you set the length of the season?

I love Franchise mode: drafting, trading, grooming prospects, but 82 games is a lot.   Is there an option in the newer versions to select the length of the season like there was in the olden days?

it would be nice if you could, but you can't.

I think they removed that feature around NHL 14 or so.

There used to be the option in the old NHL games to choose the number of games (I think it was 25, 52, 66 and 82), but the feature was sadly removed.....
