Why does the EA app make my computer slow, crash, and make my game unplayable?

When I installed the EA app, I loaded The Sims 4 and attempted to play but the game was incredibly slow. It barely functioned. When I went to close out of the game, it took forever to close. To anyone looking to switch, please wait until the EA app is the official platform for games. I am not sure if the platform is like this because it is still in development or not but in its current form, the EA app is not suitable for playing games. Especially if your PC is low-level. Origin causes me no issues and considering that my PC isn't fancy, the minimal lag or loading of the game is tolerable, practically invisible in comparison to the EA app. I hope EA sees my inquiry and keeps origin up for as long as is necessary to ensure the EA app runs smoothly for all platform and device levels.
