its an issue, because there are faction kill numbers relying on it. which means you need to kill outlaws in free play, and when you need to kill 250 and 500, that will take a very long time.
You can kill them in story and contracts too.
I actually managed to do the faction challenge this time (the 500 of each one), purely by accident. I was about to call it a day, but out of curiosity decided to check how far I was from the goals, and realized I was only short my like 20 Dominion and 10 Outlaws. And even that could have been taken care of by missions I decided not to do.
Though to be fair, I’m also one of those weirdos that don’t rush through the story, so I have the advantage of those missions still available (most of the Outlaws came from Yarrow’s contracts, I think). Once I do finish those chains, I’m not actually sure how I would go about trying to complete that challenge (or, to be more precise, I’m not actually sure I’ll ever bother with it again). I guess at that point I could try doing the Legendary Missions if I really wanted to? But going out of my way to get 1500 kills across three factions just for an additional 2000 coin just isn’t worth the time on any way, shape, or form.
