When I saw the inventory amount, I thought nothing of it. Until I began to gear a 2nd javelin, and watched the amount of loot I was holding spike rather severely. With the sheer number of component slots for each javelin, along with the number of abilities, the inventory fills rather quickly.
I only see this being fixed by either increasing the inventory, or making the things we have equipped stop counting for the inventory.
Yea, I agree. It was 600 in the demo, and I’m pretty sure I’ve used up more than 60% of that in just the couple days I was able to play (about 15 hours in total, if I recall correctly).
Granted, I wasn’t really bothering too much with inventory management, but here’s the issue: inventory management in its current state is a chore that takes up way too much time, and the game should at the very least allow you to play over the course of the weekend without stopping to sort through that stuff for a better part of an hour (especially if you have friends waiting on you to play with them).
On top of that, a full javelin loadout includes 11 items (2 weapons + 3 abilities + 6 components). With four of them unlocked, that’s at least 44 slots out if 250 committed at any given time. Actually having five loadouts for each javelin would require 220 slots, leaving only 30 for the rest. Which is not at all a lot, considering how much garbage the game gives you for the sole purpose of having you trash it later.

I absolutely agree 250 for 4 javelins is very small. I have to keep a multiple masterwork weapons of the same kind because of rolls and how some are better for one javelin than the other. Also, some rolls are better for one loadout compared to another Also, I have to keep some epics because 1: I have to complete gear challenges in epic inscriptions since masterwork gear doesn't count towards the non-masterwork gear challenges (makes no sense btw) and 2: I still am missing a few masterworks (just talking about my main) after hundreds of masterwork rolls.(I guess I'm just unlucky). 3: I have to keep epics of the same masterworks if I want to run 190% support luck. Since I literally only have 2 masterworks with support luck on them. I just don't see much room for more than one type of loadout for each javelin besides maybe... one main javelin and even then that is cutting it extremely close. It's crazy since you have to run all 4 and in each type of gear to complete all the challenges. Plus the masterwork of each gear lol. I am honestly curious what the count is totalled up to achieve all of this barebones.
I saw on the latest livestream that it basically takes a toll on the backend. I don't know if that is just a hardware limit or if it's mainly a cost effective strat... if it is a cost thing, I would more than gladly pay for extra storage from the store. I love your game and I'm 165+ hours in and I'm still not bored of it and only want to see the greatest out of this game. I just don't want this uneasiness of what to salvage because I want to complete all challenges when I'm javelin #3 in the mix. I would 100 per javelin, so 400, would make a lot of sense. Just a thought and obviously it's not a deal breaker.
