I'd like to see two color options for each item regardless of if there is a pattern with a way to change the opacity, for example on the first item I'd make it clean painted metallic then add a bright apple green or yellow, in the second color I'd add a nice red but make it slightly opaque so the green shows through giving it the look of candy apple.
Another option I'd like is anodised metal so we can have colors that look as shiny as bare metal, that'd be sweet.
I also would like to see patterns that are not fabric, I want the metal panels to be metal but with a pattern that's still shin. Maybe change fabric patterns to just patterns and add a separate option beside material. So you have Material, Pattern, color 1, color 2. that way if we want a pattern the design will still be metal if we want.
I'd also like to see a wider range of patterns or even gradients added along with more armor styles, as the game is new obviously there isn't a huge pool of armor styles yet but we definitely need more.
I also agree with others I'd like to see options for changing the color of lights and also thrusters
I'm surprised the Anthem store has already cycled back to the Shrike set. I expected old offerings to be recycled. But only 2 alternative armor pieces a available at a time -- the Epic set in the store and an Uncommon piece in the Forge -- are fewer options than I had hoped.
And at such high gold prices, I dislike only being able to buy set pieces together. I'd like to buy the Shrike legs for my Interceptor, for example, but don't want the rest enough to spend my entire gold hoard on the full set.
I might be more inclined to buy an armor set if I could see the whole set -- or, better yet, any 2 or 3 pieces at a time -- applied to my character with my paints and vinyls.
It would be nice if earnable cosmetic options, like titanium and gold, were shown (greyed out) in the Purchase tab or in a separate Earn tab for easy discovery of the Challenges which must be completed. Currently, players must dig around the Challenges menu, selecting them one-by-one, to figure out what must be done to acquire those options.
I've got an Xbox controller thumbstick that's beginning to stick. The Anthem cosmetics screen in the Forge sometimes lets the view drift to odd angles, such as looking up with the ground platform partly in the way.
Being able to customize the colors of our eye visors and the color of our jet propulsion would be great. Perhaps contrails could be another option. There could even be hover/flight emotes that let us leave a * of smoke in particular shapes.
I see many javelins that are mostly one color. I suspect it's because many players don't want to spend an hour designing something complex or lack the artistic intuition. Perhaps Bioware could design some templates to assist such players, for free access somewhere in the Forge. For example, start the javelin with these parts metal and those parts plastic, or these dark and those bright, to give players a general idea or spark imaginations.
Each vinyl looks different on each javelin type because of helmet shapes, shoulder guards, and such. So assisting players to apply a potential vinyl purchase in preview to all of their javelins in quick succession, rather than having to slowly equip one javelin at a time for preview, would be appreciated.
Since you already offer animation options, a dramatic lift-off animation might make for another cool store category. It would require a button combination to trigger, I suppose. Or it might only apply when jumping from particular mission platforms, like the striders from which some missions begin.
Therna's conversations were fun. If it could be made lore-friendly, you could distinguish her store from Prospero's in part by letting her sell stationary pets as cosmetics to sit near the player's javelin at the Forge... or somewhere else in the fort.
Anyway, the cosmetic options are already very impressive. I look forward to seeing what new armors and materials are added. I hope armor options are gradually built into a wealth of options, and not just cycled in and out each week.
Things you like about Visual Customization in Anthem
The ability to select and choose not only colors, but materials is a good touch. It helps make the basic underlying Javelin look how I want with a good base.
Things you dislike
I find most of the Vinyls are pretty bad. I don't care for all but like 2 of them.
What can we improve?
Vinyls need to either be more detailed (some are monocolors which take up half the javelin), more size (some only affect helmets and shoulders with fine details that aren't easily seen), or off center. I would like to be able to place a Vinyl and be able to have it be clear, and affect more than a few lines on the javelin. The monocolor ones I think are pretty terrible, throw some extra ink into them and make them dual/tri tones or stencil art.
What you'd like to see added?
I would like to see more done with the armor pieces as well. More silhouettes would be nice just to have something that can still be the underlying javelin, but have some additional flair that others don't have.
1. Way more armor sets, also make it so you have to earn or find each component to collect the whole set, not just oh its in the store I can buy the whole set.
2. add bonuses for having components of the same set. example you get 2 out of 5 bonus stat or slot, 3 out of 5 all the way to 5 out of 5 pieces of the set then extra bonus power.
3. more textures
4. more glow customization. Again it should have to be earned or found.
5. special colors, Metallica.
6. better and more decal kits, where you can change the color of the decals and or patterns.

Was wondering if it’s possible to have your armour show your level: common, uncommon, rare, epic, masterwork and finally legendary?
I know armour is cosmetic, but it’d be nice to see your hard work to get to that level. And of course show off a bit.
Forgot to ask if it’s possible to re-skin your weapons. I have then hidden on my javelins because they don’t work with my colour scheme.
Is there anyway to customise the hide weapon option? I’d like to show my weapons on the Ranger and Colossus but not on the Interceptor or Storm. So at the moment I’m hiding my weapons for all.
Changing jet flame colour would be awesome as others have mentioned.
I am loving Anthem! Thanks for your hard work.
