I'm just so angry I pre-paid for this game No way of getting that money back and I won't even play because I'm just so mad I got duped and even spent that money. I just want to suppress this memory and get on with life.
Just a quick visual suggestion. I'm currently playing a melee Ranger. I'd love to have an option where I can use either a two handed sword, or one handed long sword with the same electrical goodness, instead of the current mace looking weapon.
It might not be directly a visual feedback suggestion but to continue from my previous suggestion of letting players modify the weapon that appears in their melee attack, I was thinking it might be interesting to take it to the next level.
Melee / elemental hybrid weapons. A more detailed explanation is as follows; a two-handed sword that has a left click lightning bolt attack, a right click lightning strike charge up, and on top of that the melee weapon skin replaces your existing melee weapon.
Such a concept could apply to various elemental damage types that are already in the game and other functions. It doesn't have to work exactly as per my example. It just lets the players use a melee weapon that incorporates an anthem elemental damage weapon, along with a new melee attack weapon skin onto their character. Plus the player would get to fly around with a big'ol melee weapon strapped to their back.
Things you like about Visual Customization in Anthem - We can change some colors.
Things you dislike - I hate with a passion the slanty eyed sideways nonsymmetrical unbalanced look of my Storm's armor and cape .
What can we improve? - Balanced symmetrical outfits for all classes! Would Pay 50 bucks for them, even if it only shows up that way on my pc.
What you'd like to see added? - More color choices for shiny Steels like Gunmetal black, We like shinies! Much more awesome looking outfits like the Demon boss guy balanced long cape etc.
Pets !!! Even they do nothing but pick up our loot, and only we can see them.
A feature I would like to see is the independence of visualization and gear sets. So you can change to different looks, but not have to worry about swapping equipment as well, or vice-versa

Definitely agree about separating gear loadouts from saving appearance. I put a fair amount of time into getting my appearance customizations to look the way I want, so I save a ton of them, but having each of them also be loadouts also complicates inventory management. If I want to scrap a piece of gear I now have to remember which loadouts use it (and for a universal components like Thermal Cooling the answer could be all of them). Though that’s getting into inventory management.
As far as customization... I’d like to be able to save and load the paint+material combinations. Maybe like a dozen of them, or however many is feasible. Then I would like to be able to update those and have that reflected in all loadouts that reference that style (and not their own individual style selections).
Like, if I wanted to have a set of material styles for my Dawn javelins, and have them be consistent and update-able across all four of them instead of having to tweak 24 different material and color selections. Or, for example, I have an idea for a Storm style that uses different colored textured fabrics, but I want to check which texture works best in which slot (while keeping the colors). Right now it’s kind of a major pain to do that, since I have to change each selection one by one, which takes forever and gets tedious really quickly.
I also would like to be able to “transfer” those customization settings from the style palette to the slot itself (so that the settings get copied to the slot and it no longer references the style palette when it changes).
Pride decals m4m f4f with the symbols not the rainbow
I mean... I wanna say yes, but also no. If they do add this, there’s a ton more symbols to add than just those two. And hell, flag vinyls could work too (and be more noticeable). But also this game isn’t really Grindr, so I don’t honestly know if any of this really belongs and fits with the whole theme of inspiring awe in your enemies. It would be neat to have those kinds of pins/patches for the out-of-suit clothing if/when they add out-of-suit social spaces though.
There are mlm and wlw flags too, by the way, and you could make loadouts that use those colors in a way that’s pretty recognizable.
Speaking of decals, I also would like to be able to apply more than one vinyl at once. Like, for example, have a decals on top of a graphics on top of a wrap. And yes, I’ve seen at least one person using that infamous wrap that was taken down before I could see it, and it looked kinda cool, so I think there is demand for those
Speaking of social spaces, an unrelated suggestion would be to allow us to open up the helmets, on the javelins that have that function. Would also be neat if more armor customizations allowed that in the future. Currently it seems like only the starter helmets have that functionality (and for the Colossus, it has to be the starter torso since you can’t even choose its helmets for some reason).
