Some issues I've had with UI and my perspective on what would be an improvement:
1. Navigation / UX / Loading Times
My biggest gripe is that in order to change from one menu to another I need to go through one or more loading screens. If for example I'm in the Forge UI and want to check my challenges.... There's no shortcut. I must load either all of Fort Tarsis' or The Launch Bay's world assets in order to then dump it and show some UI. Why can't I go straight from the Forge to the Challenges, to the Mission Selection screen? Instead I must suffer loading times which are antagonising.
2. Diagonal lines
I found this very confusing in the Beta. I'm used to it now, but as it's a new/creative approach to showing hierarchy, ideally it'd be reinforced with something familiar. As well as being diagonal, could the nested layers not also "contain" the children?
3. Use of F vs R vs Y (PC)
There are some curious key mappings. I completely appreciate it may be worse to change this retrospectively, but some observations...
