Hi, i've made a similar thread but yours has picked up more traffic so i'll add some further issues and if you don't mind could you also edit and add the following to your OP;

- Homegrown talent starting as a goalkeeper with outfield stats but unable to retrain ther position
- Subs coming off the bench automatically have bad form which hinders their development
- You could win the quadruple but still get sacked because you "didn't sell enough youth player for x amount of money". I.E Board expectations unrealistic/too strict
- Players that have been sold and awaiting to join their new club still send you messages to look at their current wages
- When you get a penalty via handball, commentators say the wrong line and just say it is a foul
- High rated free agents often found in the free agents list
- International break overlaps with league games in other leagues often forcing you to play reserves

- Game crushes in manager career mode on June 17. Not possible to start second season in Premier League

- When selecting to customise the home kit you want, the away kit resets its customisation and vice versa.

- If players contract is not renewed before last 6 months, he place himself on a transfer list without option to negotiate with him

- Fratton Park problem with Tele Broadcast camera – stadium roof (support beam) is clipping through and blocking upper part on the screen

Bump. I’m sick to death of career mode being practically unplayable every year because of stupid, basic errors like this. The youth player system has so many bugs it’s a joke, including the skinny arms thing which quite frankly makes a mockery of the game. Not only that but how are these bugs appearing? Career mode is the SAME as last year! They’ve not even overhauled or improved anything so why are bugs reappearing that were in previous FIFAs but since been fixed?! Such as a player’s positions corrupting when you simply edit their boots or shirt etc - this has been in the last THREE FIFAs.

I’ll also reiterate something that may not be a bug as such but is seriously wrong; who is setting up Liverpool & Man City’s tactics on the game and what on Earth are they doing? I know they both play a pressing game (more so Liverpool) but this is kamikaze stuff - they’re all bloody upfront, the defence is all over the place and you can carve them open at will and be clean through on the halfway line, I put 5 past Liverpool in a game with 5 identical breaks, what on Earth is going on.

I have an issue when i try to extend a contract of a player in create a club, the remaining time of the existing contract doesnt add up to the new contract. I tried with a new save with create a club and the problem reaacurred, when i tried with a ”normal” career mode the problem didnt happen. I think its a glitch either with create a club or when you play in a league that has a january through december layout, rather than a July through may layout.

About high press tactics…

The problem is back four. They just mark very aggressively, and they do not play offside trap. What is the point to play with the high back four if they break offside trap all the time allowing easy through passes?

It should be like this:

- Forwards press aggressively trying to tackle player with the ball

- Midfielders should mark very tight and try to intercept

- Back four play offside trap and intercept long balls

- If you manage to beat first line press, their entire team should move back a little and start to press again (forwards will chase you, midfielders will make a foul) but back four will still play offside trap until you manage to push them all the way back to their box.

It RL it is very difficult to actually make a good long pass against high press teams. In FIFA you just protect the ball for a seconds, spam W and you are in.

Oh i just remembered one other thing, the auto adjust player for suspension or injury is broken. I have centre mid who is suspended and when i click the auto adjust button it puts a RW there when i have another CM in my subs??? Not game breaking but for a game thats not changed much for career mode, a lot of new bugs have come in. Also noticed in later seasons other teams start playing players out of position lol.

Additions to my previous points:

- I've also had most of my academy players disappear at the start of a new season.

- Completely agree regarding Liverpool and ManCity tactics, although I found Liverpool especially atrocious. This was also an issue last year. Just play some long balls and you'll put 5-8 goals past them easily.

We're really not asking for much here. But with all the bugs we've experienced and listed in this thread, the game is almost worthless to those of us who play it mainly because of Career Mode.

Some issues I have in addition to most of those already mentioned:

- sometimes when taking a Goal Kick, ALL players will go stand way up at the halfway line. (even if you call on them none will come)

- sometimes when getting a transfer request for one of my players, I approve, continue with the game, expecting a message that the transfer has been completed (or not) but nothing pops up. I check my transfer history to see if it's still ongoing but there's no sign of the transfer request whatsoever ... 

All these issues/bugs along with the incredibly slow gameplay made even worse by the micro stutters makes it, though not untirely impossible, very unenjoyable to play this FIFA22.

And, although there have always been bugs and stuff at the beginning of each new FIFA, having been around for every FIFA since FIFA10 this is by far the worst version upon release I've ever played. This game needs at least 6 more months of development before they should even have considered of releasing it. I honestly feel ripped off, having to pay a premium pice for a game which is clearly far from finished.

Though I'm sure the guys at EA will do their best to fix and amend things, by the time everything works more or less as it should, you probably can get the game at half price.

Just do a seasonal update every year (at a reduced price) and bring out a new and FINISHED, game every few years instead. Just a thought. :-)
