hi i paid for a game with paypal and its not working right due too the pc but the game its self isn't what i want too be fair so tryed to do a refund i paid with paypal like i say but it ha just all come back saying failed any clue what i can do as i will miss the 24 hours refund if i cant sort it today as will be at work

Yes, the timestamp on the entries in your Order History will show them when the request was originally made. So what that means is if you meet the eligibility criteria for a refund, they'll be able to verify whether or not you made the request within the refund window and take it from there.
For cases like this, I'd still advise reaching out to the support team sooner rather than later so please do get in touch with them once the support lines are open again.

Was the game purchased on Origin? If so, you can request a refund from here on the EA Help site. From there you’ll be able to see if your games are eligible for the Great Game Guarantee. If you have games that qualify for a refund, you can complete and submit the refund request form.
You can also check the status of your refund request from your Order History on the order summary page (steps in spoiler tag). If your refund doesn’t appear in My Cases, and the processing time for your payment method has passed, contact us so we can take a look into that for you.

OKay so when you followed the steps and registered for a refund, the page loaded and gave you an error message of 'REFUND AUTOMATION FAILED'? 🤔 I'm not sure why that error appeared. Does the refund entry show up in your Order History?
