my sims game will not launch

I'll right click on the game and select "open" it won't do anything. It won't open origin, i'll get the blue circle next to my mouse then it will just go away and nothing happens.

Could you try out the following troubleshooting steps?

• Use repair option.
• Run Origin and game as administrator.
• Close background applications.
• Reinstall Origin.

I have to re-install Origin each time I want to play Sims.
Now, it doesnt allow me to click the play button. Please help
