my sims 4 and origin won't open

Somebody please help me i just bought two new expansion packs and origin as well as the sims 4 won't open. I double click on it and the loading cicle thingy on the cursor pops up and then goes away and nothing happens. I tried deleting origin + the sims 4 as well as the set up file for origin and reinstalling it. When i click on the new setup file, nothing happens. I even emptied the recycle bin to permanently delete origin + the sims 4. I've had origin + the sims 4 for quite a while now and i dont know why it wont work all my other games work someone please help me
