First of all, my purpose here is not to cause unrest in the community forums. So before I start the topic, I ask the forum users not to "deflect" the topic.
EA games have been providing support for many languages for years, but have been doing their best not to add Turkish language support to games for many years.
In many games, A1 English level is sufficient in games, but it is insufficient in many aspects.
English is accepted or spoken as a second language in many countries around the world. However, it is absurd and repulsive to expect every country to do the same in this regard.
Just as people can live their religion according to their free will, they should be able to keep their language alive.
This may be a simple game for some. However, like the players in many countries, I think that it is more understandable and correct for everyone to play the game in their own language.
You cannot attach every meaning to every sentence, as there are rules for speaking and writing between languages. It needs to be in your own language to be more understandable and meaningful.
EA Games is using the placement fees as an excuse in this regard. I think this placement fee is not as expensive as they say. Because even so, even with 100 copies out of 10,000 copies, he can easily get this job done.
The reason why EA games do not add Turkish and similar languages to the game is very different. Since they have not taken any steps for years, they are able to make people think like this.
Today, many game makers now have the community outsource their embed languages in their games globally. This is both less costly and more perfect. Because every translation made there is voted as -/+ by the players.
Many languages, including Turkish, would be on EA's websites and games if they wanted to. As I said before, this is not about job placement fees or the number of copies sold in that region.
I'm against people using pirated games, but sometimes game makers are too insensitive about it. However, getting ahead of the pirate game is not as difficult as they think. With the regional price policy, they can solve this problem radically. Instead of selling games at exorbitant prices, they can sell more copies of games all over the world at more affordable price tags. With this roadmap they follow, they can reduce people's demand for pirated games and enable them to buy original games.
In 2022, the number of copies sold in Turkey as 100 thousand copies will be 500 thousand by the end of 2023. Or more. As someone living in Europe, the games we get here are normal for us. However, when you consider the exchange rate, you can see how crazy the prices of these games are in Turkey and similar countries.
Unfortunately, games with such a high price tag are sold much less and are only bought by the good ones. The rest of the players, albeit involuntarily, turn to pirated games.
To summarize without further ado.
- EA games need to apply a regional price policy to prevent pirated games and sell more copies.
- I think EA games should put "religion and politics" aside and offer the language of insertion to all players.
- I think EA games need to turn on community translations in countries where the placement fees are low. In this way, it will continue with community translations at no cost.
And in return for the work he has done, I am quite sure that the games he will release later will be sold more
Turkey is always among the top 10 countries that originally bought EA games. I am sure that this ranking will rise to the top 5 after the price policy. Many players do not buy after paying that much money because Turkish language support is not in the game. Yes, we should not miss the fact that there are hundreds of thousands of players who think so.

@guazytvThere are already a ton of different languages available in the game. If they start listening to every little country and adding their language, it would not only increase the cost, but also development time because you would have to wait until every part of the game is tested in the respective language.
There is nothing difficult in learning basic English required to understand various descriptions of attachments and upgrades.

Hi @guazytv ,
Though I sympathize with your post and request, then there are several incorrect statements in your posting that does not help to serve well making a positive case for you to get a Turkish language version of the BF2042 game.
Aka, it is definitely not due to geopolitical reasons or religious reasons why EA have not added Turkish language support to the game bundle. The BF2042 game is matter of fact released in 13 different language versions and have voice-overs for 11 different languages. Geo-political and religious-wise, the game is actually with language versions for e.g. Arab, Japanese, Russian and Chinese, which all you to some extend can argue have very different cultures/value-sets versus e.g. Western European and/or American societies.
Though you say its maybe a small simple thing to add yet one more language version, in practice it still adds one more level of complexity both in the initial developments and also for all subsequent updates that are being sent out of the game. So though the number of players may be up in the many many thousands, it will still not be a viable profitable business to add one more language version due to the associated incremental development costs associated with it. And that is no matter if you get the text translations community-sourced or not. The factual translation of the words is not the majority of costs associated with localization of software...
I am personally also from a country/nation where we dont get our own native language version of the Battlefield game. That is unfortunate, but we can still have fun with the game never the less, as you quickly get the grasp of what the various menu items stands for etc. And personally I would by far prefer of the developer-time and EA/DICE money instead would be funnelled through to make the game better and more complete in its game features/functions than spending that same money on adding 1-2 more language versions to it. (like a server browser, dedicated permanent servers, optimization of the hit registration and then some more classic maps please! :o)
So I am not providing the answer you would would want to hear. I know. But unfortunately not every language can be supported.
Why it has been decided to support a given specific language or not, will probably not be any information that EA/DICE will share with us players. But it is in the end entirely up to EA/DICE to make that decision and this time around the Turkish language did not make the cut for the BF2042 game.
