Unknown email linked to EA account [ Edited ]

Hi, I've downloaded Fifa 2020 and it is asking to send me an "activation code " to an e-mail address I do not recognize. (removed.). How do I get rid of this address and get my e-mail address so that I can start playing 2020? It is not the first game I have installed and have never had this issue previously. Thank you.

Hi @tylerjack234,

If the email you're seeing isn't one you've previously owned, please create a help ticket asap. Choose these categories to get in touch with an agent via chat 

1. Go to http://help.ea.com and log out if you are logged in.
2. Select contact us -> select Origin -> manage my account -> hacked account -> contact options.
3. When asking for a name fill in a name you are comfortable with along with the email you're using i.e. not the email listed on the account at the moment.

This should grant you the option for chat. Once you're in the queue to reach an agent via chat, take a moment to read through this EA Help article: "What to do if your EA Account has been hacked" and see if you can complete any of those steps while waiting.
