Unable to locate account

I have been on the live chat to try and locate the account in which I purchased The Sims4. I was asked to provide the details of the invoice and then they would be able to let me know the e-mail address the account is with. I provided this information to then be told that if I could not provide the correct e-mail address we could not be given the details, even though they were right infront of them, if I had the invoice details then I obviously am the account holder, I set the account up for my daughter who has not played on the game for a long while. This experience has made me not want my children to game with EA as it feels  like a huge waste of money. It was not just the game purchased for £34.99 but more add ons, which it seems we have now lost.

We take account security very seriously and if you are unable to verify ownership of an account our live support advisers will be unable to provide any information relating to an account to you.

 

Best thing to do is speak with one of our phone or chat support advisers to see what options are open to you verifying ownership of the account.

 

You can contact our live support at help.ea.com.  

 

To request a callback or speak with a chat adviser:

Click on your product Origin

Then select 'PC

Manage my Account'

Can't log in

 

Finally, you can choose to receive a callback or begin a chat.
