Last night after installing the new version of Origin I attempted to play The Sims 4. Even though I clicked the play button and tried to open it from the desktop icon, it wasn't accepting the commands.
Now whenever I try to go to my game library and click on the play button it's greyed out as if I'm in game. But all my other games will open and run just fine, and TS4 has many times before.
I checked for updates on and rebooted my computer, closed and opened Origin again, and repaired files; nothing fixed it. So I decided I didn't have that much to lose and uninstalled it... Now it won't even let me reinstall it. And I've tried turning off my Anti-virus to install it. I just receive this error: 327683:0.
And before you try to link me to an extremely old thread detailing how to clear your Origin cache, I tried that too. I searched the error code and attempted to clear my cache with the instructions many people gave, but they're too dated for me to use (and probably for the wrong operating system). However if you have a way for me to clear my cache on Windows 10, that would be great.
Thank you for your time. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @Ratlochet
For this- ''However if you have a way for me to clear my cache on Windows 10, that would be great''.-
You can try this steps for Windows 10 :
Close Origin and all other programs .
EDIT :I made this post for Origin to work properly and therefore must first be to clear Origin cache https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/origin/origin/origin-my-games-list-is-blank/
1. Delete temp files: open the Start Menu and type %temp% in the Search field or click in the Run option in the Start Menu and type %temp% in the Run field.Press Enter and a Temp folder should open. You can delete all files found in this folder, and if any files are in use, they can be skipped.
2.Now clear the browser cache: https://help.ea.com/en/help/faq/clearing-your-browsers-cache
3.Clear DNS cache https://help.ea.com/en/help/pc/how-to-flush-dns-cache-for-windows/
4.To clear Cache on Windows 10 you must have to clear Windows store cache.
-first of all, open the run dialog box by clicking Window key with R. Copy and paste the following command in the run box - WSReset.exe
-press Enter.
5.Delete location history
-click to go into the Settings app.
-choose Privacy.
-click Location in the left sidebar. Press Clear button under Location History.
6.Restart your machine.
NOTE I am sure you would not get more problems later after using the above steps. That’s it,mate.
My Opinion is no more important or right than yours.I'm a gamer like you, trying to help you (i'm not an EA employee).

Thanks! That worked great. I'll have to bookmark this page so I can come back if my other computer ever has any problems (which it probably will with my luck ).
