Steam EA Play subscription acc link

Hope someone can help. Bought battlefield 1 on steam and decided to get the EA Play subscription, as it was being advertised. It download the EA launcher and Battlefield 1 is there but it didnt transfer the subscription? I made sure my Steam and EA account were linked as well. Is there anyway i can get my subscription or am I out 5$ now lol

did you get the EA subscription for the EA app or for steam? If you purchased the subscription through steam, it is only available in steam and not the EA app as it's plattform-linked.
