Sims 3 installation Error(327682:0) on macOS Catalina

I bought the "The Sims 3 Starter kit" today on Origin and downloaded it, but as soon as I hit the install button I get the error(327682:0). How can I fix this problem? Can I get my money refunded if I can't fix it?

@ClaudiaAndrea03  The current version of Sims 3 doesn't run at all in Catalina.  The game is a 32-bit app, and Catalina is 64-bit only.  EA has announced a 64-bit compatible version of TS3, to be released some time in early 2020.

If you wanted, you could wait for the update and play then; the new version will be free for anyone who already owns the game.  For now though, there's no way to play in Catalina.  The only viable approaches would be to use another computer, or to install another OS on your Mac.

You could certainly get a refund from EA—you're inside the 14-day window for people who haven't launched the game, and even inside the 24 hour window for those who have.  Here's EA's full refund policy:

The wait times are pretty long for EA customer support right now, just so you know.
