I found some older threads with this issue but there were only a couple solutions listed, and neither worked. I tried to open Origin this morning to purchase a couple new games, but it wouldn't open at all, and came up with the error message "Qt5Xml.dll is missing." I tried uninstalling Origin and then restarting the computer, but then I couldn't even reinstall Origin because I got that error message again. I tried deleting some recommended files, and running the installer as administrator, but that didn't work either. Now that I uninstalled Origin, of course I can't even play the games I already own. I am using Windows 7. Can anyone help? Thanks!

Hi @ricola8321
Manually uninstall Origin http://help.ea.com/en/article/manually-uninstalling-origin/
Run CCleaner http://help.ea.com/en/article/how-to-use-ccleaner-to-fix-pc-issues/
Then go in C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin -delete this Origin folder
Now you have to go to your recycle bin and clean so there will no longer Origin exist as a file.
Clear Origin cache https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/origin/origin/origin-my-games-list-is-blank/
Delete temp files open the Start Menu and type %temp% in the Search field or click in the Run option in the Start Menu and type %temp% in the Run field.Press Enter and a Temp folder should open. You can delete all files found in this folder, and if any files are in use, they can be skipped.
Restart your machine.
Install Origin as administrator https://www.origin.com/en-ie/download
My Opinion is no more important or right than yours.I'm a gamer like you, trying to help you (i'm not an EA employee).
