PS4 Battlefield 2042 reset password?

I am frustrated, bought the game and i keep getting the loop of “reset password” no matter how many times i change it ot where i change it (i.e. ea.com, playstation etc) it still wont let me play.

any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Hey @2559a339cb0b8bd9,

When you are stuck in the reset password loop, you are using the incorrect EA account/resetting the password of the incorrect EA account.

I also can confirm that there is no PSN ID connect to this EA account, where you posted this post with.

Everytime I try to start Battlefield 2042 on my Xbox series a I get a pop up to change my password. I have changed my password 4 times and still get this message. I have tried restating and rebooting and even reinstalling the game.

@npg1986 i have heard that if ya change password by phone app , it would solve your isseue !

just downloaded battlefield 2042 and been trying for 3 hours to log in. Every time the game starts it says my password expired to reset it by scanning the QR code on screen or typing in url into browser. I’ve reset my password 6 times and nothing happens on my Xbox. It stays on the same screen with the QR code instructions. I’m logged in on my phone and searched everywhere to maybe link my account somehow, there’s nothing. Also tried logging in with my Xbox account on ea site to see if that does anything. Nope, just says sometype of error and to hit the reset password button below, then it makes me use my email and account password, hence why I’ve reset it so many times already. There is now way to contact ea I’ve went through the “self help” side and it’s *. Any help or is this just classic ea? Thought I’d give ea and battlefield a shot but i guess not

Thanks for the article, I already trued this and it didn’t work for me unfortunately.

i wish we could just message a tech person directly.
