Origin in-game doesn't work in Mass Effect 3

Origin in-game is enabled in the settings but Shift+F1 doesn't work and nothing appears in the game. I can't invite people in my multiplayer lobbies because of that.

It works fine in Mass Effect Andromeda.

it's working now, the problem was in the Avast antivirus. Once I turned it off, Origin in-game started working.

Hey @ScumbagShepurd

Have you tried to reinstall Origin client to fix this issue? Remember that you will only uninstall Origin app, not your games  Then you can download the newest version from here. Disabling any background applications might also be a good idea if Origin in-game doesn't work.
