From a previous thread -- not my words, but a solution I find works.

"The problem has to do with your internet ports. Sometimes, when stuff happens, multiple computers are connecting and you're disconnecting etc, ports gets shuffled. What you need to do is actually some hardware juggling. Go to your modem or router or whatever, the box that gives you the power of the internet, grab a needle and find the little hole that has "reset" written by it. You need to reset your internet/magic box. You simply take a needle inside this hole, find the button, click it AND HOLD IT until the box resets (turns off then on again). This resets your ports, and you should be back at the port Origin links you with.

After this, you might get a message that your Origin account is activated at someone elses' computer. Simply choose the option to log on at your own computer where the message shows up, and the problem solves itself. I hope this helps others that have been stuck at offline mode. This prevents you from playing all your games online and it's massively frustrating.

So there you go. I did NOT get this answer from a website, I did NOT get help with it here, and I wouldn't have gotten the answer here either. EA are to settled in it's ways of doing things the more complicated way that requires help from consultants that are paid to take the long way around." (OlaSarcasm)

If that does not work please go to this thread to help!

Hi @brookbabees

Clear DNS cache https://help.ea.com/en/help/pc/how-to-flush-dns-cache-for-windows/

Clear the browser cache: https://help.ea.com/en/help/faq/clearing-your-browsers-cache

Clear hosts file http://support.microsoft.com/kb/972034

Restart your machine.

Run the setup file Origin with Admin rights  http://help.ea.com/en/article/how-do-i-run-a-program-or-a-game-as-an-administrator/#2

NOTE if your issue persists try to reset (not restart) your modem as @Vixxee23 pointed out -> resetting your modem can fix gaming troubles,  "can't get on the Internet" problems, port issues, wireless issues and device conflicts.

And make sure Time/Date is correctly set in your machine.

My Opinion is no more important or right than yours.I'm a gamer like you, trying to help you (i'm not an EA employee).
