My game won't open

I want to talk about something you don't mention above:
How accessible is the current experience? It's useless to me
Summarize what in the product is difficult to use. I cannot open my game
How is this making it more difficult? I cannot play my game if it cannot open
How can we reproduce this experience? Advertise ways for this to be fixed

So I have just downloaded and installed the Sims 4 on my laptop but everytime I try to open it up I get a notification saying that my Origin is not online, even though I am not offline and my Origin is open. Please help me!

What is your Origin version number? (In Origin, menu top left > Help > About)
