November 2019
Hello all,
I have a strange question, and I'm hoping one of the EA fans on this forum can help.
I'm trying to find a specific old issue of a video game magazine, though I'm not sure which magazine. I'm assuming it is Electronic Gaming Monthly, EGM2 or GamePro. I'm fairly confident it was a 1995 issue.
The issue in question had insert cards for the EA Sports video game College Football USA '96. I'm not sure if the insert sheet was part of an article about the game or an advertisement for the game or just a random insert. The cards have a blue border, say "College Football USA 96" in the upper left, have the team's logo in the middle and the school's name in a black bar near the bottom, with the EA Sports logo in the lower right. The back of the cards have info about the school at the top and a "Scouting Report" below that. I know one of the perforated cards was for the Florida Gators. Another was for the Tennessee Volunteers. I've attached an image of that card to this post.
Does anyone here happen to know which issue of which magazine I'm looking for? I'm trying to come across it as a Christmas gift for a relative. If you could help in any way, that'd be great.
Thanks in advance for your time and assistance. I really appreciate it.
Thanks!

I found your other post on this at Retromags. Maybe having your email address there is not a great idea, we automatically remove email addresses when they are posted here.
Not sure if it is any help but this issue had a preview of the game:
Best of luck.

Thanks for the post. I had already come across that particular issue and sent a message to someone who was selling it on eBay. The seller told me the insert sheet was not inside, nor was there even a sign that a perforated sheet had once been included. Hmm. The mystery continues. Really hoping an EA expert on this board can come through!
