@Hegoyster Hello,

Did you try to clear your browser cache or use different browsers? Please try to download Origin again using this link: https://www.origin.com/usa/en-us/store/download

Thanks!

Okay. Can you please clear your DNS cache and then reboot your router/modem (trun off your router, removed power cable for 5 min and turn on the router)?

How to clear DNS cache:

Spoiler

NOTE: Complete these steps using an admin account. You will be typing prompts into the CMD console, so it is very important that you enter the commands exactly as shown.

The following steps are specific to PC users. Apple has instructions on resetting your DNS cache for Mac.

Windows 10

  1. Hold down the Windows Key and press X.
  2. Click Command Prompt (Admin).
  3. When the command prompt opens, type ipconfig/flushdns and press Enter.
  4. Type ipconfig /registerdns and press Enter.
  5. Type ipconfig /release and press Enter.
  6. Type ipconfig /renew and press Enter.
  7. Type netsh winsock reset and press Enter.
  8. Reboot your computer.

Windows 8

  1. Navigate to the desktop.
  2. Hold down the Windows key and press R. (this will open the Run dialogue).
  3. Type cmd and press Enter (this will open a command prompt).
  4. Type ipconfig /flushdns and press Enter.
  5. Type ipconfig /registerdns and press Enter.
  6. Type ipconfig /release and press Enter.
  7. Type ipconfig /renew and press Enter.
  8. Type netsh winsock reset and press Enter.
  9. Reboot the computer.

Windows 7

  1. Hold down the Windows key and press (this will open the Run dialogue).
  2. Type cmd and press Enter (this will open a command prompt).
  3. Type ipconfig /flushdns and press Enter.
  4. Type ipconfig /registerdns and press Enter.
  5. Type ipconfig /release and press Enter.
  6. Type ipconfig /renew and press Enter.
  7. Type netsh winsock reset and press Enter.
  8. Reboot the computer.

Windows Vista

  • Hold down the Windows key and press R. (this will open the Run dialogue),
  • Type cmd and press Enter (this will open a command prompt).
  • Type ipconfig /flushdns and press Enter.
  • Type ipconfig /registerdns and press Enter.
  • Type ipconfig /release and press Enter.
  • Type ipconfig /renew and press Enter.
  • Type netsh winsock reset and press Enter.
  • Reboot the computer.
Setting an alternate DNS

While a DNS refresh might solve your connection problems, the DNS itself could potentially not be working as intended, and connection issues will continue no matter how many times you flush your DNS cache.

You can check if you DNS is failing by trying to switch to a public DNS like Google DNS. Follow these steps from developers.google.com to set that up.

  • Google DNS might actually be slower than your normal DNS, but is useful to test and see if your connection problems are coming from your local DNS.

This information was taken from official EA Help article: https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/pc/connection-troubleshooting-advanced-pc/

I hope this help Standard smile
