I've seen this happening a lot over the last few days.
Assuming the email did not go to your spam or junk folder, it's an issue EA is working to get resolved ASAP.
If you can log in on a trusted device and direct the validation elsewhere in Account settings HERE an direct the verification code to a cell phone via text message, that is working properly.
If not you will need to Contact An Advisor.

I have been having the same problem but with my game where whenever I go into it it tells me that ea sent my a verification email when there is clearly nothing that has been sent. This issue is 7 years old and ea still can resolve it.
