I have a sims 3 cd

So, the thing is.. back in 2014 (I think) my parents got me the Sims 3 "Play With Life" DVD ROM. I was playing just fine on my Windows computer back at the time. I later stopped playing the Sims 3 for some time because I was busy studying. Last year I got rid of my old, barely working, PC and I got a MacBook Pro. My MacBook Pro doesn't have a CD/DVD drive. Is there a way to digitally download Sims 3? I downloaded the Sims 4 last Christmas, but  I got all nostalgic now. I really wanna play Sims 3 for old time's sake. Please, can anyone help?

@alextroh13  If you still have the code that came inside the CD case, you can redeem it in your Origin account now.  Then the game will be in your Origin library, where you can download it for free.  Or, if you happened to register the code on Origin back when you were playing, it will already be in your library.  The same goes for the Sims 3 Store, since Origin and the store share information.  In either case, just login with the same email address and password as you used back then.
