That's a bummer. Maybe we share the Eurogamer article with them? Shows this could be picking up steam and worth their coverage.

This is actually insane. Being literally told no way to use what you payed for because of the companies own mistakes. This is criminal. What awful and incompetent infrastructure.

I have to say EA has the worst support I have ever experienced. I have had the same problem as the fellow above for years now and I’ve reached out in the past and had the same issues he was having. I spent yesterday downloading battlefield again so I could play with a buddy and after opening the game I realized I can’t and never can unless I create a NEW Xbox account. Like why does that have to be the solution. I’ve used the same Xbox account for the last 9-10 years and never had a problem like this. You guys can keep your * service. I’ll just stick to non-EA games from now on. Thoroughly dissatisfied…

The fact that their help centre team laughed down the phone at me and made this sound like all this is a big joke when I asked how do I play the games I bought from them . 

They truly are the worst company I have ever dealt with.

I am still contacting other YouTubers I'm hoping at least one picks this up.

Just a quick update, I have sent the link that Miks88 posted from Eurogamer to a number of YouTubers and have asked them to highlight it in one off their videos. 

I'll let you know if I get any replys.
