How do I get the NEXT GEN witcher 3 update

I have version 1.31  HOW do I get the next Gen update that  is supposedf to be out right now?

Could you take a peek and see if the updates showing for you in your Origin Client now please?

I'm in same boat. 

I tried talking to support but there isn't a Witcher 3 option and they were useless. 

It was meant to be released over an hour ago. 

This is why I use steam for pretty much everything else now...

@EA_Darko I am not understanding you, from the look of it Steam Platform has got the new 4.0 game update but Origin doest,t. Is this not a platform related issue?

@JesusMoses I would love to move to steam with my game but sadly I bought Witcher 3 years ago on EA when I was still playing Battlefield and Dragon age. Also now I can't link my steam account with origins unless I actually buy an EA game on steam like Fifa...WTF

This is something that we would not be able to assist with as it is related to a third-party title.

@EA_Darko I can understand your point, however you can also understand the concerns from us who have EA accounts and bought these kinds of games on your platform and whether or not we will have the support in the future. I personally would not buy a game that is not EA then on your platform and nor should EA host other 3rd party developer games on this platform if they do not intend to support it in the future.

If the support is dropped then a method should be available to release the game from the EA origins platform to something like Steam or even back to CDPR in this instance or as a GOG release so those who bought this game can actually keep playing it as was intended.

I am also not able to get the update on EA's platform.  This is NOT the publisher's issue - I have bought this on YOUR platform, EA.  You have to provide the update, just like its already happening on STEAM, XBOX and PS5 (also platforms, and not publishers).

What is your plan to address this issue?
