I keep getting security codes in sms in Russian, 5-15 of them each week. When I'm logging in myself, a security code is only being sent after I successfully enter my email and password correctly, so I'm guessing that someone has my login details including my password.
I scanned my computer with malwarebytes, sophos, got a firewall, I'm using a private network connection, I changed my password using my clean MacBook with a really secure password, unique and random string of letters, digits and signs, and never logged in. Six days later the messages started again, which leads me to believe that EA is accidentally leaking our passwords or has a crappy security or very weak encryption of the keys.
Is it possible that I would be getting security codes if somebody tried to access my account with a wrong password?
Is it possible that I would be getting security codes in Russian from unsuccessful login through Xbox One Battlefield V european servers? (I haven't been playing but it's installed on my console, could it be trying to connect every day to a russian server to check for additional content or updates?)
It would be nice to get a log for unsuccessful login attempts with the IP addresses that failed to login, but all we can get from EA Security settings are the successful logins with a location, and thankfully there is no successful login listed that I don't recognize, and definitely not 5-15 logins in each week.
I don't feel that my account is secure and I don't plan on buying any other EA games until it is secure enough.

Same issue for me, very very annoying. On the brink now to just GDPR close myself off the origin service because of this. @EA fix this its very spammy and I hate your service for it. Find the source of the hack and lock the sms code sendout if its being pinged from the specific source. I have several support tickets running regaridng this. No answers from you yet

Problem is not the security aspect. The problem is the constant SMS stream i get on every attempt. If i close the 2way authentication my account will be hacked. STOP sending me the god damn codes on sms if its from the same source over and over again

I am having the same problem since summer and no answers from EA yet. Please do something, i think you can afford an it security specialist..

Hey @MetalLady6661 and @fkmark if you are receiving login verification codes then this means that someone knows your login details. The best thing to do is go ahead and change your password for Origin as well as your email account and any other.
