I am having problems with the downloading of Mass Effect 3 N7 Deluxe Edition . It keeps giving me an error message that say "An unexpected error has occurred. Please try again in a few moments. Error:-4:302". A solution would be very much appreciated. Thank you.

Uninstalling and re-installing Origin doesn't work. Turning off firewall, running origin as administrator does work... for a second. And then the error report pops up again, failing the download. The only way that works for now is by using safe mode downloading. But it's horribly slow.

Okay, nothing works. I've probably tried everything. Looked through every thread. I've found no solution to my problem.

I haven't tried that due to my knowledge not reaching that far. I might give it a shot though. I read that it's somewhat risky. But I think what would really help me progress is probably knowing what Error: -4:302 is and why it pops up every time I attempt to install a game that I own in Origin. I discovered that it's not only a Mass effect 3 problem. The error pops up if i try to install other games as well. Hopefully this info is helpful to anyone who wishes to help.

I tried what the thread suggested and it still didn't solve the problem.

Delete temp files: open the Start Menu and type %temp% in the Search field or click in the Run option in the Start Menu and type %temp% in the Run field.Press Enter and a Temp folder should open. You can delete all files found in this folder, and if any files are in use, they can be skipped.
Clear Origin cache https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/origin/origin/origin-my-games-list-is-blank/
Restart your machine .
Run the setup file Origin with Admin rights http://help.ea.com/en/article/how-do-i-run-a-program-or-a-game-as-an-administrator/#2 and check.
NOTE if your issue persists -go to the Origin client, click on Origin / Application Settings / Diagnostics- and from there enable Safe Mode Downloading. Now restart Origin and try to download.

Doing everything before safemode downloading did nothing to the problem. And we already concluded that it safemode downloading works... but it's extremely slow though so instead of doing safemode downloading, i wanted to find a solution to the problem so that i don't have to wait a week in safemode downloading. But i guess there's no solution out there other than safemode downloading.
