EA wont help you

★★★ Newbie

I have seen so many questions about how to link an xbox account to a ea account when one is already linked. They all have the same thing I have in common, we cant access the account that is currently linked to the xbox account. I have tried contacting ea and all they do is tell you to login and unlink the account. How am I supposed to unlink an account I dont have access too. ( thanks ea). Also why no phone number or support team that actually listens to people questions. I want to link my xbox account to my ea account, but there is already an ea account linked to it. I DONT HAVE ACCESS TO THE EMAIL ADDRESS NOR THE EA ACCOUNT LINKED TO IT. I understand that someone from ea will try to say "login and unlink it", because there education is horrible, but I need help for a real problem from someone who has an understanding on actually electronics

Hey @pgmint,

Sorry to hear you're having some trouble getting your account properly linked.

While I understand you don't have access to the account, our support team can try to verify some separate information to prove ownership instead. They absolutely must be able to prove ownership of the account before any changes can be made.

Additionally, if the account is already linked, that means someone with access to that login information signed into the EA account to link it manually at some point in the past.

If you're not sure what other account that could be or you don't have access, the only way to make changes will be to verify ownership of the account with our support team. To do that, they'll need to speak with you and try to verify some other information from when the account was created.

You can create a new case here to try going through that recovery process, though for security purposes our support team would only be able to assist with changes if they can first verify ownership of the account.
