Answers HQ is moving to EA Forums

Hey players!

We recently announced that we’re working on EA Forums, a brand-new community hub where you can connect with other players to chat about all things EA games, share tips and tricks, and get help when needed.

This means that once we’ve migrated our content, Answers HQ will be shut down.

We’ve loved having you on Answers HQ over the years. Your feedback, bug reports, and creative suggestions have helped us make our games better. We hope to see you on our new site.

Here’s everything you need to know about what to expect as we phase out Answers HQ.

When is Answers HQ shutting down?

We plan to shut down Answers HQ in February 2025. We’ll keep you updated with exact dates.

Until then, you can use Answers HQ to engage with our global community and to get help from other players.

Check out our post to learn what games are currently supported on EA Forums.

Will my posts be migrated to EA Forums?

We’ll migrate most of the content, including posts, images, and boards for active EA games and services.

We’ll also be migrating bug reports.

Videos you’ve uploaded to your galleries won’t be migrated.

Will my profile be migrated to EA Forums?

Active users and content will be migrated to EA Forums. Your profile, your XP, and all its content will be migrated to EA Forums if you meet either of the following criteria:

  • you’ve logged into Answers HQ at least once since January 1, 2022
  • you’ve made at least one post in the past and you’ve logged into Answers HQ at least once since January 1, 2019.

We’ll also migrate most of the badges you’ve earned, but this may take longer and may look different on the new site.

What won’t be migrated?

  • profile settings
  • profile biography
  • direct messages
  • subscriptions
  • avatars
  • macros

What if I don’t want to migrate my profile?

To opt out, you’ll need to delete your Answers HQ account by January 22, 2025.

Deleting your account is permanent, and there’s no way to recover it once it’s been deleted. You can create a new Answers HQ account, but it won’t be connected to any content shared from your old account.

Here’s how to delete your account:

  1. Log in to Answers HQ.
  2. Select the arrow next to your name on the top-right corner of your screen, and choose SETTINGS from the dropdown menu.
  3. Select CLOSE ACCOUNT from the options on the left side of the screen.
  4. Read the blurb and then select Close Account.

Will this delete my EA Account as well?

No, these steps won’t delete your EA Account, only your Answers HQ account.

What's EA Play?

New name, new look, same great benefits: EA Access and Origin Access are now EA Play.
