Whenever I launch the trial it says you don't own this game.

i have both and it still don’t work keep asking do I own the game

When I try to download madden 21 from within ea play it gives me an error and says to download from the store. Then when I do that, whenever I try to open madden 21 I am greeted with the do you own this game or app screen and I own ea access. The game will not allow me to start the trial and I have been trying to fix it for the past two days.

Because of all the problems downloading the madden 21 trial, one of the EA rep told me to go to a website and download it there. But when I go there it says join EA access, which I already have, when clicked. The screen changes to manage EA Access. Please help.

I will try to offer solutions that may help, I will list them below.

Try to play or download the game after trying each one.

1. Power off your console and unplug the power cable for a few mins.
2. First make sure the EA account with the EA Play subscription is linked to your gamertag/console account.
3. Try resetting your EA account password and relog into your console etc.
4. Go to your EA account here: https://myaccount.ea.com/cp-ui/aboutme/index and unlink your gamertag and then relink it.
5. Delete the game and try to re-download via the store, if you managed to download it.
6. Reset your network settings on your console.

I'm hoping one of these work but I will keep looking into it and try to help further.

@BlackBoiYoTry signing out of your EA account via console and logging back in.

You could also reset your EA password and/or unlink your gamertag from your EA account and then relink it again.

Also double check that the EA account that has the EA Play subscription is linked to your correct gamertag.
