Login to EA Play on PS4

I have a Origin Access Basic subscription, I just tried to login to EA Access on my PS4 but it doesn't ask for a login, I just have two option to buy a subscription, monthly or yearly.

When will EA Play be active and how can I access it on my PS4.

That is correct, Xbox, PC and PS all require separate subscriptions to EA Play. EA Play Pro is PC only and I think Steam will also require another subscription.

Pretty sure I read somewhere that EA Play subscriptions are platform-specific. So if you buy a subscription on PC, you can't use it on the console and vice-versa.
