Battlefield 4 on EAplay asking for a disc

Ive just downloaded Battlefield 4 from EA Play but when i go to lauch it asks me for a disc, is there any way around this?

Yeah so i needed to delete all data of BF4 and re download for it to work, thankyou

Hi there, @Wrokgod3.

You shouldn't be asked for a disk. If you previously had BF4 installed from a disk and it's still on your system, completely delete it and try downloading again. Also, you can push the download to your console by logging into your account at xbox.com or playstation.com. Depending on which system you're playing on. Let me know what happens. Thanks!

Does that mean that I will lose all my progress from when I had a disc?
