Hello, can I play for free with a friend who has a Way out, but he got this game on an EA Pay subscription

my guess will be yes. since he is the game host.

the game itself do say. own the game and invite your friend, for the Friends Pass.

and EA Pay subscription. is just you borrow the games, that EA Pay subscription has on the list.

so not sure on that part.

but you can try and see, if you can play together.
