Save Problems and Issues : It Takes two

The auto save is only saving part of the way through the level, despite many saves, we are having to play around 20 minutes of the previous point each time we save.

Yesterday we had just finished the boat section in the tree. It did a cut scene, said saving.

I quit the game, reloaded it and it took me to the save point.

Today when I load the game I am about 20 minutes before where it saved yesterday. This has happened 3 times.

What is the issue?

@speciuk Which platform are you on? Does this happen every time you load the game?

It seems to be that if we get through a chapter, it will save ok, but when it is part way through then it takes us back around 15 to 20 minutes in time, even tho we have had a cut scene or seen the save icon.

Hi,I lost my save... I was at the space monkey level with my wife and the next time we launched the game , it wasn’t possible to continue the game, but only to start a new campaign. I searched on the chapter selection and it wasn’t also possible to select chapters that we already complete.

I am having the exact same problem and I am also on PS5. Hopefully we get some answers soon.

Yeah, extremely frustrating.

Even if the continue takes you way back from where you finished playing previously ; we did notice if we found a mini-game, by clicking on “play mini game” that it takes to you that game even if the save takes you far back, so they has saved us a few times only having to do 10 minutes or so.

Any ideas on when this will be fixed? It's an issue across all platforms and has been for at least a week now. Going to request a refund soon

Wow, it's good to see others are having this issue as well.  My daughter wanted this game, we played for many hours yesterday and almost finished Chapter two.  Today we log in and do not have any saves from Chapter two and we are now starting back at "The Depths".   Very discouraging.   This needs to be fixed asap.
