Steam and gamepass have same problem, the problem is with the cpu, my freind have the same problem, all google reserch says the same thing cpu problem, we are currently trying to reinstall the game to see if it works, i dont understand how this page can be classed as SOLVED? when its need to get patched

Agreed, there should be a fix not an environment variable work around.  Certainly seems like it could be rebuilt. https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/developer/articles/troubleshooting/openssl-sha-crash-bug-req...

Tengo también el mismo problema, ya intente con la solucion del openssl y nada.
Mi novia tiene una MSI con Core i 5 de decima generacion, 8 en ram y RTX 3050 TI, con ella no se cierra el juego

Got the same issue

Intel 11th generation (11900k), RTX 3090

Windows 11 is up to date, Nvidia drivers also

Origin and Nvidia overlay are disabled

No other app running at the same time

 

The "OPENSSL_ia32cap" trick does not work either

please open command prompt and run as admin.

 

please paste this command:
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth

 

next :
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth

 

then this :
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

 

now this:
sfc /scannow

 

Restart your computer and it shall fix it! you're welcome.
