unable to redeem product code for sims 4 says product code already used

Greetings just want to try and get some help on redeeming my product code. I first used it on my home computer but that computer crashed and now im trying to install it on my laptop when it gets to the part where it asks for my product key I enter the code it then prompts me with 'product code already used. How can I get this fixed

@therosa16 Are you logged into the same account on your laptop and desktop? I'd guess that the code went through on the desktop so it should be applied to that account. 

If you log into that account you can check the My Games section. 

If you're using the same account, where did you buy the game? Perhaps you need to contact their support.
