Gee thanks for thinking about Mac users!
Why are we always the step children?
Let's just hope the reason for this delay is because they are going to listen to their users this time and SPECIFICALLY program for the Apple OS, rather than doing another WINE port of the PC program.
If I wanted to run Sims in a virtual engine, I would use bootcamp and just run the PC version. If Sims 4 is actually programmed for the Mac... I will purchase it and EA will redeem itself in my eyes. If not... I'll find something else to occupy my time. Yup... I've been simming since Sims 1 and I'll just *quit*.
You would think with this year's Average sales of Mac computers at 4 million, up 2.8% from 2013, EA would be a little nicer to those in our demographic. It's an awfully BIG market for them to so casually upset.
