IT WON'T ACCEPT.

Been using this credit card (visa) for a year, dont know why Origin just wont "verify" it.

"Your request could not be processed. We're unable to verify this credit card."

Just my two cents: adding dashes did not work for me.  In fact I am pretty sure on the FAQ's for Origin ordering & payment FAQ link: https://help.ea.com/en/article/ordering-payment-information/#4 (as of Thursday, 23 July 2015) it says:

 

Should I put spaces or dashes in the credit card number?
No. Your card number should be entered as a continuous string of numbers.

 

However, I do have my current credit card registered as a payment method on my PayPal account and was successful following that route. 

 

I chose PayPal during checkout, was directed to log in to my account, then I used the link on the next screen to change my payment method to the desired credit card. 

 

It did work and I was sent an order confirmation. But, the transaction was flagged as suspicious and I had to clear it with my bank. After clearing the hold, though, I still can't get a verification from Origin adding my credit card directly without PayPal. So, I think the problem might be with Origin's end.

 

Using the online chat and speaking with an advisor, I am also awaiting a response from the escalation team and will give an update on the solution when able.
