Origin client doesn't work. Seriously, what is this?

My Origin client keeps updating but when it does show the login tab, I get a message "Online login is currently unavailable" and it tells me to update, how do I update when I can't go online? And if it's updating, it never finishes the update, it just skips it and goes to the login tab, and gives me the same message saying online login is unavailable.

When is the update actually works? NEVER!

Seriously get this right EA, I'm so tired with this.

This is why I never buy games from Origin/EA.

Even the client alone is stupid.

So disappointed and frustrated.

And to think I supported EA all this time.

Valve is way way better; Steam is a stable client, with a large community support, and the update actually works.

Hi @Shzrl,

I hope you got this issue sorted by now. Sorry for not being able to get to you sooner.

If you are still experiencing the issue, please follow the below steps to solve it:

• Close Origin completely by right clicking the Origin system tray icon and selecting Exit.
• Make sure Origin is authorized by your anti-virus and firewall
• Make sure Time/Date is correctly set on the PC
• Reset Internet Explorer Settings
• Untick the options in LAN Settings ( make sure nothing is checked under Proxy Server )
• Clear Origin Cache Data
• Reset the Windows Host File
• Reboot your computer, now run Origin as Admin by right-clicking it
• A last resort is a clean boot
