origin your download has been paused

 Origin needs to download files and is waiting for permission. Please choose "Yes" when Windows prompts you for permission.

Good news @oooppza, you can generally fix this by going ahead and changing your User Access Controls.

1. Click the Windows button and type "UAC" in the search field. 
2. In the User Access Control window, click and hold the slide bar —slide it to the lowest setting available. 
3. Click Okat the bottom of the window. 
4. Open the Origin client and try installing again

Tried the UAC method, still shows the same error. Tried cleaning cache. Tried disabling origin services. None of this worked. I cant install Apex legends and it is annoying.

Hello, i have the same issue which started at the same time as the latest update. Sorry i cannot share it cuz there is 3mb limit for files in here.

I've tried copying apex legend folder files from another pc and transferring it to my pc, but origin still does not detect it.

Edit:  I saw you say in another post that the above or something similar didn't work.  If that's the case, try a clean boot:
