origin installed files to desktop after update

origin installed the files to the desktop after an update.when i deleted or moved the files origin wouldn't work properly after so i was wondering can i move or remove the files from the desktop without messing up the pathway and if so whats the best way

The best way would probably to try to uninstall the Origin Client via Control Panels > Programs & Features first. Then re-download Origin from here: https://www.origin.com/en-ie/download

After the download, run the installer as administrator: http://help.ea.com/en/article/how-do-i-run-a-program-or-a-game-as-an-administrator/

thanks theres no cluster on the desktop anymore still not sure why it happened when it was installed without it being run as administer
