origin error code 14-7

origin error code 14-7 just getting this code when trying to reinstall origin and i also cannot Access the origin webpage either just got a circle going round in the middle

tried all the previous soultions and none of them seem to work any body got any other ideas

found a solution changed dns to 8.8.8.8 and that`s let me connect to both website and the down loader app

Deselecting Proxy Server via your LAN settings has a good chance of correcting this:

not got a proxy setting on my Lan so it cant be that its on automatic settings

none of those seem to work.

And now i can`t download the origin installer (deleted the old one by mistake )

i cant access  https://www.origin.com/gbr/en-us/  just get loading circle in middle of page see attached.

cant even connect to it useing a tablet

Hi @masklingb

The first thing to do ,change your browers,if you use IE change to Google Chrome or Firefox

Then if your issue persist follow the steps below :

Delete temp files: open the Start Menu and type %temp% in the Search field  or click in the Run option in the Start Menu and type %temp% in the Run field.Press Enter and a Temp folder should open. You can delete all files found in this folder, and if any files are in use, they can be skipped.

Clear hosts file

Clear DNS cache

Restart your machine.

Run the setup file Origin with Admin rights  http://help.ea.com/en/article/how-do-i-run-a-program-or-a-game-as-an-administrator/#2

I've been trawling through solutions that didn't work all evening, changed my dns setting to 8.8.8.8 and it's suddenly all working again!
